About Us:

Australia and Iran Chamber of Commerce & Industries was incorporated in March 2007 in South Australia, Adelaide.

This success would have not been possible without assistance and cooperation of Mr. Barry Salter, the Executive Manager of the Council of International Trade and Commerce for South Australia (CITCSA) www.citcsa.org.au

Then our application for membership was accepted by CITCSA in April /2007 and our association became one of the members of this important business organization in Australia.

As a brief definition of the Australia and Iran Chamber of Commerce & Industries’ purpose, it has been established to promote, develop and boosting the existing commercial relationship between Australia and Iran by strong focus on private sections. We have categorized our targets in the following items:

Export

Strong emphasizes on mining, agriculture, fishing, White and electronic products, telecommunications and GPS services for Iran.

Medical equipments and disables convenience instruments in high volumes are patterns of the Iranian enquiries from international markets. 

Education and Training

It is our goal to assist student exchange between two countries to study at Universities. Also, providing Australian trainers for Iranian organisations who need training programs in Standardizations, Occupation Health and Safety, Risk Management, Age Care and Nursing Homes Management and such is part of our purpose in this category of goals.

Research and Development

We wish to bring Research and Development Centers in both countries to the closest possible relationship to exchange information.

 Hundreds of Iranian research and developing organizations in various subjects such as Agricultural, Husbandry, Biolotechnology, Water and Medical sections need to be assisted and advised by counterparts in developed Countries.

The Climate Change is one of the vital considerable subjects in today Australia which is needed to use all experiences. Iran, a Country with snow and rain, high mountains, hot and dry deserts, humid zones, has a lot experiences in Climate and Water crises which could be used to help Climate Change, programs and alternatives in Australia.     

Information about Iranian Tenders

It is a fact that Iran as a developing country has several development projects annually.

Australian Suppliers and Contractors could be informed about tenders via our website. We will try to make a bridge for Australian Companies to access information and then help them to participate in Iranian international tenders.

Imports

This is our main target in import section which is making a strong relationship between Iranian Petrochemical, Oil and Gas Industries, producers and suppliers with Australia to fulfill Australia's industrial and consuming needs.

Shipping and Transportation

As Iranian Shipping Co ( www.irisl.net )  is one of the largest fleet in Middle East by more than 110 big Bulk and General-Cargo motor vessels, its transportation services could be used by Australian exporters and importers.

Potentially, there is other opportunity to use services of Iranian Tanker Co (www.nitc.co.ir) for export and import of liquid fuels, LPG, LNG and such as.  

Following above relationship, the required yearly overhaul, maintaining and technical services for these fleets could be a big business for Australian Shipping Industry in Australian ports.
